REAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT


My experience in real estate development began in 1970 and includes subdivisions, office buildings, condominiums, apartments and planned unit developments. It continues with a new Perdido Key project on the drawing board that unfortunately is on hold pending an upturn in the nation’s economy.


Sandy Key condominiums on Perdido Key, Florida were developed in the eighties. This project consists of three towers containing 183 two and three bedroom condominium units. In 1997 The Palms condominiums in Orange Beach, Alabama were completed. This is a two tower project consisting of 99 two and three bedroom units.


Directly across from The Palms is a planned unit development, Palm Harbor. Palm Harbor is a private waterfront community on Cotton Bayou
made up of 40-single family lots. Each lot comes with a permanent boat slip and the owners share a pool and tennis court. All have dedicated gulf beach access just across the street. See the Palm Harbor page for more information on this project.


My experience in real estate development includes dealing with planning commissions, zoning boards, city councils, county commissions, utility companies, environmental agencies, federal and state regulatory agencies, engineers, architects, attorneys, CPAs, lenders, investors, property owners, real estate brokers, general contractors and the general public.
